0300 hrs on the 26th of December, Delaware City Fire Co with assist from Christiana Fire, were dispatched for a reported house on fire in the area of Red Lion rd and Old Kirkwood rd. Engine 6 arrived and reported fire showing from a single story ranch house laying a supply line. Engine 12 arrived behind them and hooked up thier supply. Both crews forced entry and stretched hand lines into the structure to search for possible missing occupants. Delaware City units arrived next and all crews worked together to extinguish the blaze. Christiana units operated for over 3 hrs while Minquas Fire (23) stood by station 12. Chief 15 had the Delaware City Command.
