On Christmas day at 0130 Engine 12, Squad 6,Ladder 12, Ambulance 6,12, Medic 2,Medic 6 and Deputy 12 responded to Pulaski highway at Fairwinds for a vehilce crash with two people trapped. Units arrived to find a box truck had struck a tractor trailer. Units operated for 15 minutes extricaring two patients. During the extrication a small fire also broke out in the cab and was extinguihsed by the Engine crew. Both patient's were transported in critical condition to Christiana Trauma center.
