On December 28th at 12:41 AM the Christiana Fire Company was dispatched to I-95 South Bound at Christiana Road for a MVC with a vehicle overturned. ALS 12 (Dudley) arrived and reported a trauma code with one person trapped. Christiana units arrived and extricated one from the vehicle. Transport was made to the Christiana Trauma Center. On the same day Engine 3 and Rescue 12 were alerted to a dwelling fire in the unit block of Newland Court in the Breezwood section of Newark. EMS 12 (Smith) arrived and reported smoke showing. Aetna and Christiana units arrived and made quick work of an attic fire. Christiana units cleared in about one hour, no injures were reported.
