Christiana Fire Company was dispatched to Salem Church Rd at Becks Pond for a MVC with a person trapped. Engine 126 and Ambulance 6 arrived to find one person pinned in the car. The rescue tools were used to remove the person from the car. Ambulance 6 transported to Christiana Hospital. Christiana and surrounding companies were dispatched to a townhouse fire in Barretts Run Townhouses. Engine 126 and the Duty Chief arrived at the same time with nothing showing. Engine 126 established a water supply and stretched an attack line to the second floor. The lineman and officer for a fire in the kitchen and extinguished the same. Searches proved negative and the area was checked for extension. The assignment was scaled back and crews remained on the scene for 40 minutes. There were no injuries.
