On March 7th at 1548hrs Engine 12 and Deputy Chief 12 were alerted to smoke coming from a private dwelling in Harmony Hills on box 2180. Engine 12 arrived with smoke showing. A water supply was established and a hand line deployed. The crew found a fire in the basement. The crew was able to make the interior stairs. The fire was extinguished. Crews from Aetna and Millcreek provided ventilation and conducted the primary search. There were no injuries. The crew cleared in an hour. On March 8th Christiana Fire Company was alerted to a MVC on South College Ave and Old Baltimore Pike. Engine 12 and Ambulance 6 arrived to find one person trapped in a minivan. The crew removed the door and the patient was transported to Christiana trauma center. Units cleared in 25 minutes.
