On Saturday evening May 28th Christiana Fire Company and area stations were dispatched to a Townhouse fire with a person jumping from the window in the Village of Tahoe. E36,E124,E126,L12,Amb 6 and the District commander were responding in a minute with 18 Firefighters. Engine 3 arrived to find smoke showing and secured a water supply. An attack line was stretched and the kitchen was extinguished. The home was searched with no results. One male was injured and assessed by CFC EMT's. The assignment was scaled back to Christiana units. Companies remained on the scene for 45 minutes On Monday May 30th Christiana was dispatched to a ATV crash on Sunset Lake Rd. Engine 3 and Ambulance 6 arrived to find two serious injuries about 200 yards off the highway. Both patients were removed via 4 wheel drive vehicles. NCCEMS Medic 2 and 6 as well as Amb 6 and 3 transported both patient’s to the Christiana trauma center.
