Christiana has had a busy few weeks. The Webmaster has been away at training so the stories have been slow hitting the web site. Here are a few stories. More to come.
Christiana Fire Company was alerted to a MVC trapped on Stanton Ogletown Rd and Stanton Christiana Rd. As units responded the address was changed to in front of the Delaware Park raceway. This changed the response to a 21 box and that assignment was alerted. Since Christiana units were already responding they arrived first. Engine 12 extricated two patients. Both patients were transported to Christiana trauma center.
On March 13th Christiana Fire company was alerted to a MVC on Pulaski Hwy at Fairwinds. Engine 12 arrived to find one trapped. The patient was extricated from the car. The patient was transported to Christiana Trauma Center.
On March 14th Box 1221 was transmitted for a chimney fire. Engine 12 and Engine 6 arrived to find fire from the Chimney. Both Engines as well as Ladder 28 operated for 40 minutes. There was no extension into the home.
