On May 3rd Christiana Fire Company was alerted to a MVC rollover on Christiana Rd at the Entrance to I95 NB. Amb 12 and Amb 28 responded as well as Medic 8 and Engine 12. Units arrived to find two serious injuries. Ambulance 12 and 28 treated one serious injured patient and transported the victim to Christiana Trauma center. The other patient succumbed to their injuries. Units operated for 1 hour.
On May 10th Aetna Hose Hook and Ladder of Newark was alerted to a vehicle crash with serious injuries on South College Ave. While units were responding a updated address was given as Sunset Lake Rd. This added Christiana Fire Company to the response. Units arrived to find one patient fatally injured and another trapped with serious injuries. One patient was removed from the vehicle and transported to Christiana trauma center. Units remained on the scene for one hour.
