Engine 12 and Ladder 12 were alerted to Academy Street in Newark for a building fire. Engine 9 arrived with smoke showing. A line was stretched and the fire was controlled by Engine 9. Engine 12 and Ladder 12 assisted with overhaul and ventilation. The company operated for 40 minutes.
Engine 15, Rescue 15,Engine 6 and Engine 12 were alerted to Route 1 south bound prior to route 72 for a RV on fire. Engine 15 arrived to find a RV well involved. Crews quickly knocked the fire down. There were no injuries. Units operated for 30 minutes.
On September 4th box 1213 was transmitted for a townhouse on fire. Engine 12 and Ladder 12 arrived to find smoke showing. Engine 12 arrived and secured a water supply. A line was stretched and water was put on the fire. Ladder 12 arrived and completed the searches. 3 Dogs were removed by the ladder company. Units operated for 40 minutes. The K9's were not injured.
