April 10th, proving to be a busy day, had an additional working alarm at the Edinburgh Villas townhouse community just off of Christiana Rd. Christiana Fire crews arrived to find smoke coming from the basement of a middle of the row townhouse. Ladder 12 performed a quick search while the Engine stretched a line to the basement, making quick work of a make shift bed room that was on fire. Engine 23 was back up with a hand line on the 1st floor while primary and secondary searches were completed on the other floors. Search crews were met with heavy smoke conditions. Extension was checked and handled, exposures were checked and cleared. Engine 32 responded as the RIT on Side Alpha.
