On May 27th around 1930 Hrs Engine 12 was alerted for a tree fire on Winchester Rd at the Prides Court Apts. While the engine was responding the 911 center received a second call reporting the outside fire had extended to the building. A box alarm was transmitted bringing the second Engine from 12, Engine 6,Engine 9,Engine 23, Ladder 12, Ladder 9 and Rescue Engine 21. Engine 12 arrived to find a bush fire that extended up the side of the apartment building. Companies arrived and checked the interior of the building as well as the roof in order to confirm the fire had not entered the building. Units worked for 30 minutes. There were no injuries.
