On May 17th Box 0908 was transmitted for smoke in the basement. Companies arrived with nothing showing. However once the front door was opened crews encountered a working fire. The fire extended from the first floor to the attic. Companies worked for one hour to control the fire. All searches were negative. Rescue Engine 29 covered station 6 while Engine 6,12 and Ladder 12 operated.
