    I want to thank all of the Christiana Fire Company and other responders to the Chapman Woods fire yeterday. As a resident of Chapman Woods, I was impressed with the dedication and service exhibited by all of you.

    We brought water and ice, and sadly, I heard from more than one of you that neighbors don't always give as much as they can to our firefighters when you are called upon. I hope that ours was not just an unusual occurrence, but hopefully the beginning of a trend of service towards those who serve us.

    I just want to thank the Ambulance Responders who helped my son after a fall from the swing-sets on the evening of May 2, 2011 at Becks Pond, Salem Church Road, Newark. Your professional handling of the situation kept him calm and up-to-date on what was going to happen next. At the ER at A. I. Dupont Hospital that night he checked out fine and we were released and returned for a follow-up on May 5, 2011 in which he got a good bill of health. *P.S. By the time we left the hosp, there was mulch everywhere!!!!
