May 24th at 1100hrs, Christiana and mutual aide were dispatched for report of a house on fire in the 1200 block of Donna Marie way in Bear. Command 12 (12-8B) arrived on scene with a double wide trailer with smoke showing. Engine 12 arrived as first Engine laying a supply line from the hydrant that Rescue Engine 126 picked up as 2nd Engine. Ladder 12 arrived as first special and split crews begining searches and outside ventilation. Engine 12 stretched a attack line extinguishing a fire in the rear of the structure. Mutual aide units arrived and assited with other duties. 2 lines were stretched all searches were negative, units operated just over 2 hours. This was Engine-12's first fire since being placed in service a few days ago.
