On March 20th Engine 6 and Ladder 12 were alerted to box 0907 for a house fire. Command 7 arrived with smoke showing from a two story private dwelling. Squad 6 arrived as the third Engine and assumed RIT, Engine 12 arrived fourth and secured the third water supply. Ladder 12 arrived as the second truck. The inside team assumed (By SOP) the floor above the fire. All searches were negative. Engine 9, Quint 7 and Ladder 9 controlled the fire and all searches were negative. Units were operating for one hour and thirty minutes. There was on firefighter injury. The firefighter was transported to Christiana trauma center and released in the evening.
