The Christiana Fire Company wants to highlight member/Firefighter Kenneth Brent, who deploys to Syria later this month with the New Jersey 44th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. He is a dedicated volunteer member with Christiana, a career Firefighter/EMT with the Mill Creek Fire Company - Stations 2&21 and a part time Firefighter/EMT with the Minquas Fire Company #1. He started his Delaware fire career with Christiana, and has continued his service to those other companies, but he is originally from New Jersey where he started his fire service career. Last night was Kenny’s last night riding until he returns from his several month deployment. The night included several responses to include in district box alarms that brought Engine 12, Engine 6, Ladder 12 and Deputy 12 to the same incident which prompted the group photo next to Engine 12 (he’s centered with no helmet on). We wish him and his unit safe travels and are eager to see him back on the riding board at Christiana.
