May 26, 2009 - At 8:51 am Stations 3-6-12 (Christiana), Engine 15 (Delaware City), Engine 32 (Wilmington Manor) and Ladder 28 (Wilmington Manor) were dispatched to the unit block of Council Circle in the Village of Tahoe Townhomes for a house fire. 126 under the command of Firefighter Kevin Cowperthwait arrived on location with a two story middle of the row town home with nothing evident; 126 had their own hydrant. Upon further investigation the crew discovered a fire in the kitchen that was partially extinguished by the home owner. The crew quickly deployed an 1 ¾” attack line to the kitchen and opened the walls up to check for extension. Christiana Ambulance B-3 transported one patient to Christiana ER with minor burns.
