On July 29th Box 1236 was sounded bring E12,E23,E9, Ladder 28, Squad 3 and the District commander. The address of the incident was the Buckingham Place Townhouses. Engine 12 arrived and secured a hydrant and stretched the 300 ft line to the front door. The crew was confronted with fire venting out the window. The line quickly controlled the fire after the crew went thru the front door. Squad 3 arrived and split into the inside/ outside crew. The primary search was negative and the basement check and side C check were completed. The fire was under control in 10 minutes and the assignment was scaled back to E12,E23 and Squad 3 and the Chief. Units assisted the state fire marshal for about one hour. There were no injuries.
