Trailer Fires - Glasgow

On Thursday morning September 13th at 0025 hours box alarm 1233 was sounded for a fire in a mobile home on Jocelyn Drive In Glasgow Court. E124 was clearing an outside fire and responded. Engine 124 arrived with fire showing. A water supply was established and an attack line was stretched. Squad 3 arrived and got the side D rear bedroom searched. Engine 6 arrived and stretched the backup line. The 1st alarm assignment operated for 2 and half hours. There were no injuries. On Thursday September 13th at 0640 a box alarm was sounded for a mobile home fire on Jocelyn Drive in Glasgow Court. Engine 3 arrived with fire showing. Squad 12 arrived and operated as the 1st special service. Engine 3 established a water supply and stretched an attack line. Engine 15, 9 and Christiana units operated for one hour. The State fire marshal is investigating the cause of the fire within the vacant trailer. There were no injuries. On Saturday September 15th Squad 3, Cecil County MD Engine 7, Cecil County MD Ladder 8 (Covering for station 12) were alerted to Bear Rd at the Springfield’s for a vehicle crash with a car overturned. Command 3 arrived to find one person trapped. Units arrived and secured the car then extricated one patient. B12 and Medic 2A transported the patient to Christiana trauma center. Units operated for 30 minutes.
