On March 30th Ladder 12 and Engine 3 responded to a apartment fire at the Drummond Hill Apartments in Pike Creek. First due Engine 8 arrived to find smoke showing from a three story apartment building. Ladder 12 arrived and was detailed to the roof. Engine 3 arrived and assisted with overhaul and checking for extension. The fire was controlled and all searches were negative. Units operated for 1 hour.

 

On April 1st Engine 12 and Ladder 12 were alerted to box 2165 for a roof on fire. The address was right on the border of Millcreek, Christiana and Aetna's district. Engine 12, Ladder 12, Engine 8 arrived to find smoke coming from the roof of a private dwelling. One line was stretched and the fire was quickly controlled. There was a small fire on the exterior of the home near the roof. All searches was negative. Engine 21,12,8 and Ladder 12 operated FO 20 minutes.

 

On April 2nd Christiana was alerted to a MVC with a car on fire at Rt 1 south at Route 40.  Engine 32 was alerted due to the nature of the run.  Engine 12 and 3 arrived to find a car involved with fire and one minor injury. The car was extinguished. Units operated for 30 minutes.

 

On April 5th Christiana Fire company was alerted to a MVC at Wilton Blvd and Pulaski Hwy.  Engine 12 arrived to find one person trapped. The side wall was removed and the patient was taken to Christiana trauma center. Units operated for 20 minutes.
