Engine 12, Tower 12 & Battalion 12 assisted Newark with a two story split level house on fire. Engine 12 arrived as second engine and deployed the back up line while securing 9’s hydrant. Tower 12 arrived as RIT. Battalion 12(Speakman) arrived first and initiated Newark Command until Deputy 9 arrived and assigned him to division 2. Crews battled fire on the second floor which extended into the knee walls and attic.
